The most important job interview question to consider, for both employers and job-seekers
When preparing for a job interview, there are a number of classic questions which you need to prepare for. But according to Lou Adler, there is one that you should think long and hard about when formulating your response. The question is ‘What single project or task would you consider the most significant accomplishment in your career so far?’ This allows the recruiter to ask follow up questions about the tasks involved, how you took initiative, what you would do differently, etc. So it is important to choose an event which showcases what you can do, and consider your responses to all possible jumping off points from this question.
Employers, this is also a good question to keep in mind. Based on their response, there are a number of questions you can ask to gauge how a candidate will perform. Each question and response is in the context of real experiences and outcomes.
